Falls 100 - 50 Miler First Place

I made my ultra marathon debut today and had an awesome experience in the mud at the Falls 100 at Rough River. I went into the race with zero expectations, but my body and mind held up and finished in a good place.

I only had a brief low point around mile 32 as I focused on what to eat and didn’t give enough thought on hydration. I got some fluids at the aid station and t

urned things around. I felt great during my forth and final loop and finished strong.
